How To Root Xperia Ray

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray just hit the market but , but before you do this you need to be certain that your bootloader is unlocked first. After this you need to flash the boot.img and use hte SuperOneClick one your PC to complete this process.

Requirements :

• You must On  Stock  Rom firmware: 4.0.A.2.368
• Unlocked on Bootloader here or you can searching on google
• Download boot.img here
• fastboot files here
• SuperOneClick Program
• You must on stock firmware: 4.0.A.2.368
• download the boot.img provided below and save it in same folder as fastboot.exe

• power down phone
• connect phone in fastboot mode (connect device via USB cable to PC)
• flash the boot.img using:
• Code:

  fastboot flash boot boot.img

• verify[ OK ] at end of flashing
• disconnect USB cable from pc
• power on phone
• when the OS boots up make sure that “Unknown sources” & “USB Debugging” is enabled
• connect device via USB cable to PC
• start SuperOneClick app on PC, click on Root (or Run from flashtool)
• device will be  reboot
• when u get back in android OS, check app drawer u will see Superuser app
• Device rooted and enjoy
