Samsung officially announces Galaxy Note 10.1

Samsung has announced the official Galaxy 10.1 Note and will be globally available this August in WiFi and 3G version, and catch up later version of LTE that will be released before the turn of the year. Based on the press release is circulated, 10.1 Note Galaxy will be powered by a 1.4GHz processor quad-core Exynos same as that used in the Samsung Galaxy S III. Addition of 2 GB of RAM is also implanted in Note 10.1 is.

The press release is a little ambiguous on whether the “starting in August” bit refers to the four aforementioned countries or the following global availability, but we’re inclined to side with the latter. The quote is: “GALAXY Note 10.1 is available in Korea, Germany, the US and the UK while it will gradually roll-out to other global markets starting in August.

Note Galaxy 10.1 is to be present to offer the functionality and precision of a pen on a 10.1-inch screen is large, which will allow users to strengthen creativity, productivity, and learning ability.   • AllShare Play and Cast
  • Music, Game, Learning, Readers, Videos, and Media Hubs (availability varies across locations – more info in the press release below)
  • Adobe Photoshop Touch
  • “multiscreen” support for a small number of built-in apps. They are:
    • Polaris Office
    • S Note
    • S Planner, S Memo and Crayon physics
    • Video Player
    • Gallery
    • Email
  • Pop Up Play
